For decades, the Drones were just remote controlled airplanes used as practice targets for anti-aircraft gunnery, fighters, etc. This article is based on the Hellcat Edward 1/48 profipack version comprising etched, resin parts and canopy masks.
The instructions are clear and the PE of latest generation (what takes some charm off we had before when detailing the cockpit) which add a lot of accuracy and do a great favor to those who are tired of sanding and gluing. It also comprises resin wheels, guns and radar which give much realism.
I started to present the cockpit parts in place to see defects and actually, it has to be assembled almost like the Tamiya kit. The PE are pre painted, so we will have to paint the cockpit before being installed.
Next, I removed the ejector marks that as always, are in an inappropriate place, I used a scalpel blade with rounded edge, sands and files, but be very careful so as not to damage the parts.
