Jaguar is, without a doubt, a car brand that best represents the exquisite character of the British auto industry. Vehicles designed with suggestive shapes, where class, delicacy and majesty prevail. The model which this tutorial is dedicated to, is the Jaguar Mk II, one of the most elegant cars ever made, and one that Tamiya has represented very well in their 1/24 kit.
Bodywork, and imperfections correction
The preliminary step in the construction process has been to clean the bodywork parts, which in the case of this model are the bodywork itself and the hood, from imperfections, burrs, mold marks, etc., something very common in models , even if they are from Tamiya. Once the process was completed, two coats of gray primer were applied to the pieces, as this will help to highlight all those imperfections that are not seen with the naked eye, in addition to the possible scratches that may have been produced during sanding.
