Maybe the M4 Sherman was one of the most conflicting tanks used by the U.S. Armed Forces; as it was considered by the department of the ground forces of the army as an ideal combination, because of its mobility, reliability and fire power. Some crew called it "Ronson", because it caught fire at the first round, in reference to the famous brand of cigarettes lighters. However, the Sherman is an example of the highly industrial capacity of USA during WWII very superior over the rest. The tank I intend to represent here, belonged to the Second Armored Division based in the Península of Cotentin, at Normandía during July 1944. This kit from Revell, is the newest in 1/72 scale. Some years ago, it was possible to find a kit from Esci, that represented the same version but with some differences; unfortunately I couldn't find one, for comparative purposes, or perhaps to achieve another version.
