After having uninterruptedly been constructing several detailed, super detailed models and so forth for months, I decided to take a rest, building a straight from the box model, paying special attention to the painting instead of the details of the kit in itself. I chose the superb 1/72 Revell Merkava kit, with a great amount of high quality parts and ideal to my intention of adding to my collection a new handsome 1/72 tank without much time-consuming. The kit demands just a single correction in the running gear depending on the version you'll build, but this didn't concern to me as my target will be to explain along this note how I painted this model.
