The old Tamiya kit, ref 43510, is the only option to achieve this model in 1/35. The “new” reference 35259, uses the same assembly chassis/cabin with a different cargo box. The original mould dates from 1978, that’s why one should expect certain omissions or even mistakes that can’t easily be solved, in a word, a mediocre kit. However, this kit surprised me, with its high quality, superb!!.

Details are clearly defined, it’s accurate in size and proportions and although you’ll always find some things that might be improved, it can be assembled straight from the box with no problems. So, I decided to build it straight from the box and to devote all my effort to the painting job. Nevertheless, at the time the building procedure was going on, I found myself detailing it much more than I thought I would.
